The Choir is currently planning an evening of fun and entertainment with Margaret and other entertainers on Saturday 9th August in Aberfeldy Town Hall at 7.30pm. The evening is the brainchild of the Choir’s conductor, Isobel Rutter, who says she has had such a good time with the Choir and with her connections in Aberfeldy, it is her way of giving something to the community.” I wanted to get involved,” said Isobel. “There’s such a variety of talent in the Choir and around the Aberfeldy area, it’s amazing… I come from Glasgow every week, and the Choir pays my petrol expenses, so this special evening is my way of giving something back – it’ll be a fun night out for everyone, that’s for sure!” Money raised will be divided between the Choir
and a local cancer charity. Tickets will be available soon, at venues
which will be announced in the press. |
